February 1, 2009 Sheeter Consulting has entered into a formal partnership with Atlanta, GA based Benefit Consulting Group effective February 1, 2009. The partnership of the two firms is a nice addition for Sheeter Consulting as Benefit Consulting Group brings a wealth of accounting, regulatory, and plan administration knowledge with it. The combination of the two firms also creates more buying power with the insurance and investment companies that are used to informally fund executive benefit plans.
April 16, 2009 Sheeter Consulting sponsors Team Sheeter Consulting to race in the Orlando Corporate 5k Challenge. The Corporate 5k Challenge proceeds benefit the Orlando Track Shack Foundation, which promotes health and fitness with an emphasis on youth athletics, Parramore Kidz Zone, a local, dynamic program with a mission to change a distressed Orlando neighborhood into a healthy place for children, and the Christian Service Center.
